Danielle Kathleen is an aspiring singer developing her talents and interests through training, schooling, church choir and drama club. She has appeared in several plays and produced a CD,”Musica”, for her high school senior project. Her 3.97 cumulative GPA and many activities (Volleyball, Swim, Track senior captain, extracurricular Aikido and horseback riding) have prepared her well as she transitions into college and professional life.
Danielle has studied vocal performance since the year 2001 and plans to make performing and teaching music her career. In 2009 she placed first in the Washington State Music Educator’s Association (WMEA) Solo and Ensemble competition in the Alto category with her rendition of Mon coeur s'ouvre a ta voix. In 2008 she placed second in the Mezzo Soprano category in the same competition with her rendition of Bizet’s Habanera, from Carmen. For the past three years she has also been selected as a performer in the WMEA All State and All Northwest choirs.
